Hyperspace is a back door through Hell, and still the desperate line up for the Company jumpships. You were one of them, back before Hell spat you back out. Now when a jump goes bad, you go in. Breach the derelict, identify the incursion, eliminate the threat, and hope to hell the money’s good.

I used the movie Event Horizon as a foundation for worldbuilding a campaign setting using Breach. It was amazing how it all fit :D
Borrow a few elements from WH40k (since most everyone says Event Horizon is early WH40k anyway), tweak background flavoring for the professions and... voila.
Now to look for victims... uh, I mean players :D
